Tyler Owen - Game Designer / Graphic Artist
Tyler graduated magna cum laude in 2010 from the University of Dubuque with a B.S. in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media. Most of his days are spent in front of a glowing computer screen where he enjoys creating his own video game concepts and graphics. His recent games include, Iceberg Frenzy, Protobotic, and the well-received Ludum Dare 27 entry, TIMEframe.
He has received many honors and awards including two Silver Addy Awards for Excellence in Logo Design and Mixed Media Campaign, the Steven A. Wise Game Level Award two consecutive years, the CGIM Leadership Award, the University Service Award, the Dr. Thomas and Virginia Somerville Concert Choir Leadership Award two consecutive years, and the Ruth and Frank Netzel Web Award. Tyler was a member of the Wendt Character Scholars program all four years of college and is also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.
He lives in Victoria, Kansas with his wife, Frances, and their dog Peanut.
